Caru Present at IAPC 23rd Annual Education and Research Seminar 2024
The Caru National Programme manager, Sheena Murphy, presented at the National IAPC Conference on February 8th in the Gresham Hotel in Dublin.
Sheena presented on, Devising an Approach to Evaluate Caru – A Programme to Support Care and Compassion at End-of-Life in Nursing Homes in Ireland.
Following a brief overview of the rationale, aims, and objectives of the Caru programme, Sheena informed the audience about the UCD evaluation of the programme currently in progress. Included was a description of the evaluation methodology using the RE-AIM framework model.
On the day Sheena also shared some initial secondary data results from the evaluation, demonstrating a high satisfaction rating from attendees across all the programme elements.
