Caru Workshops Have Commenced for 2024
The Regional Leads for the Caru Programme have had a busy start to the 2024 with more Caru Quality Improvement Workshops taking place across the country in January. The nine Regional Leads are responsible for delivering a four-part series of free workshops across the country. These workshops are intended to support and empower all staff within the nursing home in their delivery of end-of-life, palliative care and bereavement support, through continuous quality improvement (also known as the Caru Review Process). Learn more about the Caru Workshops.
In January, two groups of nursing home staff completed their fourth Workshop in Portlaoise and Dublin. These nursing home staff are now fully trained in the Caru Review Process and will be returning to their organisations to embed the process and share their learnings with their wide colleagues.
In CHO6 Workshop 4 commenced on the 21st of Feb with all participants doing great work in leading and championing the Caru Programme in their respective nursing homes.
